Do you have a Summer Day Camp within driving
distance of Paddle Inn?
HAVE WE GOT A DEAL FOR YOU!
If you are interested in including White Water Rafting on the Nantahala
River as part of your activities list at your Day Camp, "Boy have we
got a deal for you." If you commit to sending groups of your Camp
Attendees to the Paddle Inn during your season, read a little of the below
group special, and give us a call. There's a whole lot more that we can do
for you. Is your Insurance an issue? We can help with that too! Give us a
call, and we'll be happy to discuss the details with you. Adding an
exciting activity like White Water Rafting to your list of activities will
help give your establishment the boost it needs to reach more attendees.
The "word of mouth" advertising you get from your patrons will
go much further than any other sort of advertising that you might be doing
currently.
Attention All Group Leaders
Book your group trip of 20 or more with Paddle Inn, then bring
all of your Group Leaders to the Outpost for an Early Season run. Let
us take you on a Guide Training Instructional Trip down the river and
give you the training you will need to successfully guide your group
through the rapids on the Nantahala River. This is intensive training.
Each person will be guiding the boat, validating your skill level. When
we get to the Nantahala Falls, we will be making multiple runs over
the falls. The Guide Trainer will explain the run, then you will all
experience the correct, and alternate run, in the event you are having
a problem getting set up. Then each of you will get a shot at the falls
run yourself, knowing if it is not lining up correctly, you can go for
the sneak run, and still keep us all in the boat with you.
We will personally train you on the difficult
rapids, and show you all sorts of tips and tricks to make sure you are
confident in guiding your group. We will also train you on how to handle a
boat when it gets stuck on a rock, and tips and safety issues surrounding
the easiest way of getting off of a rock. Then things you can do with your
own boat and group, and how the buddy system works when you get in a jam,
and you know another trained guide and loaded boat is behind you and on
its way.
Take a second run on the same day, and
try some of our other crafts. Then you'll know exactly what this is all
about, and you'll know first hand what each type of craft is, and how it
handles. You will leave knowing that you have a number of people
(hopefully one per boat when you return with your group), to guide each
one of your crafts.
This Early Season offer is good Sunday-Friday between
March 1 and June 9th, excluding Memorial Holiday period.
August 13 through October 31st, excluding Labor Day Holiday period.
You pay for your Guide Training Trip that you receive with us. Then when
you return with your group for your scheduled trip, your new guides will
ride for Free! You will be able to give your group a Fully Guided trip for
the discounted price of a Self Guided trip affording the group additional
savings, while adding to the safety of your trip. This Special Training
is very advantageous for groups like Churches, Scouts, Day Camps,
Corporate groups, Colleges, etc.. Watch out though!, when you
are the "Qualified Guide" for the group, you'll be
asked to guide for the rest of the groups, when they find out how much fun
you guys are having. This stuff is contagious!
This trip requires advanced reservations and resource
planning!
($50.00 per person with a riverside Lunch)
